Know what happens to your data before you upload it.

LeadRestore is designed to analyse only the business lead information needed to identify recovery opportunities. This page explains the practical data flow in plain English.

The short version

Your original guest file is not saved as account history.The Free Audit analyses the upload, but the original CSV or Excel workbook is not deliberately stored as your ongoing LeadRestore recovery history.
Only mapped lead fields are used for AI analysis.LeadRestore can send the fields needed for the audit to the OpenAI API. The original CSV or Excel workbook itself is not sent to OpenAI.
Signed-in recovery history can be stored.Revealed opportunities, statuses, reminders and Actual Won Revenue can sync to a signed-in LeadRestore account.
Stripe handles payment-card details.LeadRestore uses Stripe for subscription checkout and billing management and does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

What LeadRestore expects you to upload

LeadRestore works best with ordinary sales and enquiry fields such as customer name, enquiry status, opportunity value, days since contact and short sales notes.

It is not designed for passwords, payment-card details, bank-account details, government identifiers, medical information or other special-category/sensitive information. Remove those fields before uploading a file.

Practical rule: if a field is not useful for deciding whether a sales conversation is worth reopening, do not upload it.

What happens during a Free Audit

  1. You choose a CSV/Excel file, paste leads, enter leads manually or use the sample demo.
  2. LeadRestore maps the fields needed for the recovery analysis.
  3. Obvious closed, completed, opted-out, unsubscribed or do-not-contact signals are excluded from recovery suggestions.
  4. The remaining records are assessed for commercial follow-up using status, notes, recency, value and relevant business context.
  5. The Free Audit reveals the strongest three recoverable opportunities while also summarising the wider recovery pool.
  6. A person decides whether any suggested follow-up is appropriate. LeadRestore does not automatically contact the customer.

Service providers

LeadRestore currently relies on Vercel for hosting/serverless processing, Supabase for authentication and signed-in recovery data, OpenAI for AI inference, Resend for transactional email, Google Workspace for LeadRestore business communications and Stripe for subscription billing.

The provider involved depends on the feature being used. An uploaded lead file is not automatically sent to every provider.

What we do not claim

LeadRestore does not claim that an AI recommendation guarantees a sale, that every old lead should be contacted or that using the software removes your business's responsibility for GDPR, PECR, consent, lawful basis, suppression lists or opt-outs.

LeadRestore also does not present itself as independently ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certified. If that changes in future, we will publish the evidence rather than using a generic security badge.
